There are many types of lettuce that can be eaten in a salad mix, sandwich, or as a side dish. One popular variety of lettuce is red oak leaf lettuce. It tastes crispy with a slightly sweet and nutty flavor. The appearance of the leaves is curled and ruffled at the edges, which looks similar to green oak lettuce. However, the difference is that the leaves have a dark red color at the top, while the bottom from the stem blend into streaks of green. In addition, red oak lettuce is very nutritious.
