Loy Krathong is a Thai national holiday celebrated during a full moon in the 12th lunar month of November. During this time, Thai people pay respect to the goddess of water, Ganga by floating thousands of lotus-shaped rafts made with banana trunk, banana leaves, and flowers on the rivers.
